Graduates of the Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication at Capilano University are resilient, resourceful, adaptable design professionals ready to start their careers.

This year’s grad show theme is The Most Unprecedented Grad Class, but unprecedented only
tells part of their story.

As they enter their field, the class of 2021 has been prepared in an unprecedented manner for
success, taking on the logistical and artistic challenges of facing a global pandemic with
openness, willingness and collaborative thinking, all qualities that will set them apart.
In Bachelor of Design, students can specialize in branding, illustration, or interactive design.

Our flexible curriculum is continually evolving to reflect current professional standards and
practice and anticipate new trends and opportunities while being structured to help students
achieve their goals.

Our reputation within the communication design industry has been built over many years and is
key to connecting our graduates to rewarding careers.
